Jefferson Capital’s Chief Compliance Officer Again Awarded CRCM Certification

Jefferson Capital is thrilled to announce that its Chief Compliance Officer, Sue Unterberger, has once-again earned the prestigious Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) designation from the American Bankers Association (ABA). This is the fourth time Unterberger has sought and achieved the designation, which she has held since 2014.

CRCM certification is important, as it is limited to individuals who undergo significant training and pass a rigorous examination. It requires a deep understanding of regulatory requirements, risk management, and compliance strategies and is a testament to Unterberger’s expertise and dedication to regulatory compliance. Although CRCM certification isn’t required by our regulators, clients, or any other third parties, the benefits to Jefferson Capital are numerous:
