Education Requirements
Academic Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is desired
Experience Requirements
Sector Depth: 7–10+ years of progressive experience within the Consumer Finance, Debt Purchasing, or Accounts Receivable Management (ARM) industries, with a strong, highly desired background in operations such as external/internal agency performance management, collection strategy development, bankruptcy operations, or portfolio management.
Business Acumen: Demonstrated success in navigating complex, long-selling cycles and managing high-stakes relationships with executive-level stakeholders.
Qualifications
Strategic Mindset: Proven track record of entering new markets, growing partnerships and scaling capital-heavy business lines with a solutions-oriented approach.
Financial Acumen: Understanding of return-driven investment metrics and capital deployment analysis for distressed and bankruptcy receivable portfolios, including IRR, NPV, and yield performance.
Compliance Integrity: A "compliance-first" approach to growth that ensures brand protection for both our organization and our clients through an appropriate understanding of FDCPA, state regulations, and the evolving regulatory landscape.
Executive Presence: The ability to influence internal and external stakeholders through compelling storytelling and data-backed persuasion.
Responsibilities
Market Intelligence & Vertical Strategy: Conduct deep-dive analysis of emerging markets to design and execute multi-year sales and marketing blueprints. You will be responsible for defining where we play and how we win in assigned industry verticals.
Capital Deployment Optimization: Orchestrate the deployment of company capital by identifying and securing portfolios and servicing opportunities that align with our long-term risk/return appetite.
Solution Development: Move beyond "off-the-shelf" offerings to develop bespoke, client-centric solutions. You will translate client needs into innovative solutions and services that drive competitive differentiation.
Executive Relationship Management: Represent the company as a thought leader at the executive level. You will lead high-impact presentations and onsite consultations, navigating complex sales procurement and due diligence cycles with C-suite stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with internal stakeholders and executive teams to institutionalize "best-in-class" responses for due diligence questionnaires (DDQs) and post-sale audits. You ensure our brand is synonymous with compliance, transparency, and professional excellence.
Data-Driven Growth: Leverage Salesforce.com and advanced sales analytics to track pipeline health, forecast deployment accuracy, and provide the executive team with actionable insights into market trends and competitor movement.
Skills
Asset Class Mastery: Proven track record managing diverse asset verticals including any of the following: fintech, telecommunications, banking, auto finance and/or credit card.
Strategic Sourcing: Extensive experience identifying and securing high-value portfolios from Fortune 500 creditors, national and regional banks, and original service providers.
Compliance Leadership: Knowledge of the FDCPA, State/Federal regulations, and industry certifications such as Certified Professional Receivables Company standards.
Analytical Rigor: Ability to collaborate with underwriting teams to leverage proprietary analytics with competitive intel, risk assessment and return thresholds.
