Automotive Inventory Manager

Employment Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Exempt; Monday – Friday Days

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or other related or quantitavie field; or equivalent related experience.

Experience Requirements

  • 1 – 3 years of related experience in an analytic position is desired, but not required.
  • Experience with consumer secured auto, consumer bankruptcy, and/or financial services industry is a plus.
  • Excellent computer skills including creating and utilizing reports, including experience with Microsoft Excel, SAS, and SQL.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels and functional areas of the company to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving and results.
  • Possess a strong work ethic, high ethical standards & ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for identifying automation opportunities, developing strategies to increase efficiencies, and working with appropriate company resources to put strategies into action.
  • Keeps open communication channels with subject matter experts and takes into account the operational impacts of proposed changes on all affected employees.
  • Produces measurable goals, and related reporting, to ensure that automation and efficiency targets are being appropriately and timely met.
  • Identifies opportunities for automation, process streamlining, and other effiency and/or labor reduction efforts, and works with appropriate company resources to put them into effect.
  • Communicates with Secured Servicing Specialist, and other relevant associates, to determine any special requirements or specific client needs, which may need to be reflected in updated processes.
  • Collaborates with Repossession and Remarketing Manager to improve interfacing between company’s system of record and external repossession vendor portal.
  • Streamline the process of posting payments, fees, and general invoicing of 3rd-party collections (e.g., repossession and remarketing vendor remittances).
  • Collaborates with media department to ensure that necessary account documents and media are available, as needed for certain secured assets operational requirements.
  • Adheres to Jefferson Capital Systems compliance program and related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.
  • Ensures all actions taken to support our compliance culture and creates awareness to facilitate resolution when questions arise.
  • Ensures all consumers are treated fairly, with respect, and afforded all protections under State, Federal and local consumer protection laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Provides other ad-hoc analyses and reports, as required by the Director.
